The marathon and relay start at 8am on November 2. The half marathon starts at 8:30am.
Parking is not available at the starting line. Participants should park at the Fruita Community Center or in nearby downtown Fruita. Shuttles will take marathon and first leg relay runners from the community center to the starting line and half marathon and second leg runners from the community center to the half way point.
Parking is available at the Fruita Community Center (324 N. Coulson St., Fruita) and in downtown Fruita. A shuttle will take runners from the finish line at Circle Park back to the Fruita Community Center, which is about a five-minute walk.
All participants are required to sign the event waiver. No race numbers will be assigned without a participant signature. Runners may download a race waiver in advance and bring the completed form to packet pickup on race day. (Note: please be sure to complete both sides of the waiver.)
Chip timing will be provided for this event.
Colorado weather can change quickly. Please watch the weather forecast and dress appropriately.
Packet pick-up is Friday, November 1 from 3pm-7pm and the morning of Saturday, November 2 at the Fruita Community Center (324 N. Coulson St.). If you are unable to pick-up your packet at this time, you may pick it up on race morning, November 2 from 6-7am at the Fruita Community Center.
On-site registraion will take place at the Fruita Community Center. All day of registrants must be registered by 6:30am
If you need to shed layers at the starting line, race staff will collect your clothing and bring it to the finish line.
If you want to drop layers along the course, please do so at the aid stations only. We will tag your items and bring them to the finish line area for pick up following the race in the sag vehicle. Please keep in mind that the sag wagon stays behind the last runner and your item(s) will not be available to pick up until it gets to the finish line following the last runner.
Please stick around and celebrate your accomplishment with local food and drink and live entertainment after the race. All runners will receive a complimentary beer cup to use for the free Beer Garden. Spectators can purchase a cup for $10 to participate in the Beer Garden.
Each participant will receive a prize for finishing the race.
